I had my weekly follow up with Dr. Durden today. I can now raise my arms over my head which means I can wear t-shirts again, and I can eat sweet stuff every now and then. I still can't have any caffeine, but I can handle that if I can have some cake!  I also got my second fill into my tissue expanders which makes me feel like I look a little more normal now. After we got back from the appointment, Patrick and I went on a walk on the Buffalo Creek Trail behind the Ag Ed center and checked out the Master Gardeners' gardens. The flowers are beautiful and make me want to hurry spring along!

Rachel Glory

I am a 40 year old wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. I work full time as an assistant manager at a bank, and I craft as a hobby, mostly crochet. My family loves to travel, and I also contribute to making beautiful music with our local community wind ensemble by playing the clarinet. Most importantly for the purposes of this blog, I am journeying through breast cancer, and I am a strong supporter of early detection because of my experience.
